About the Products
FOUNDATION® Dry Cow Premix and Dry Cow Premix NS (No Salt) These premixes are formulated to provide the necessary supplemental vitamins and trace minerals during the entire dry period. The premixes provide complexed zinc, manganese, copper and cobalt along with additional vitamin E, shown to be beneficial in boosting immune function during the dry period.
Dry Cow Supplement This is an all-natural protein supplement formulated for rations needing additional protein during the dry period. DC Supplement also provides vitamins and trace minerals in addition to supplemental calcium, phosphorus and magnesium.
Dry Cow Supplement CAB DC Supplement CAB contains Animate® as the primary source of anionic salts and is designed to be fed during the close-up or steam-up phase, the last three weeks of the dry period. Anionic salts provide additional chloride and sulfur to decrease the CAB (cation–anion balance) of the close-up ration and counteract the negative effects of sodium and potassium. DC Supplement CAB also provides supplemental protein, minerals, trace minerals and vitamins.
Dry Cow Complete and Dry Cow Complete CAB DC Complete contains highly digestible fiber sources and corn, in addition to, supplemental protein, minerals and vitamins. It is designed to provide the concentrate portion of the dry cow ration and be fed at an 8.0 to 12.0 pound feeding rate with forages.
DC Complete CAB adds Animate anionic salts to the mix and is designed to be fed during the close-up dry cow period. Animate assists in manipulating the cation-anion balance and calcium metabolism in the close-up dry cow.
